Tony Haines from Watermouth Castle - A Window on North Devon - Episode One

In our first podcast we met up with Tony, who makes up one half of the Haines brothers that run Watermouth Castle. During our chat we find out more about the history of the castle, if Tony still finds the dungeons scary and what his favourite ride is. Tony also tells us about a new ride that will soon be open in the castle grounds.
He talks about a vintage arcade machine that is highly sought after by collectors and what he and his brother would do with it if they found it. Then at the end of the interview we are taken the spot of his favourite view that he and his father used to share. Shortly before I was introduced to Tony I bumped into his brother Jonathan who was in the middle of welding something together. I explained that I was there to record an interview with his brother and that I was producing it for a double glazing window company. He then went on to tell me how he loves to wind up cold calling window companies, by telling the truth…
